It is a community created by and for photographers and photographed people. It is the meeting point where people can find their best photos and keep their unforgettable moments, and where photographers can optimize their sales processes and offer better service to their clients.

Who can use Lumepic?

Everyone can use Lumepic! We invite all photographers to try the platform and all photographed people to find themselves. Additionally, event producers can rely on Lumepic to centralize photography and make it easy for participants to find their images.

How does Lumepic work?

It's simple:

• Photographers take photos of any event or activity.

• They upload the high-quality album to the platform. The system automatically publishes the images in low quality with a watermark and securely stores the high-quality copies.

• Photographed people search for their photos using facial recognition and can purchase and download them in high quality without a watermark. Some events offer photos for free.

Can anyone register as a photographer?

Yes! We invite all photographers to register and start working with Lumepic. There are no requirements for registration other than having an email address. To start selling, you will need a bank account where you want to receive the money from your sales.

What type of photography can be sold on Lumepic?

Accepted Answer

We currently work primarily with people photography. For example, sports and event photography. We are not a stock image bank — every image on Lumepic has a protagonist behind it, and Lumepic is the tool that makes it easy to reach that protagonist.

Question 7

How do I register as a photographer?

Accepted Answer

You need to go to the registration link and complete your details. The registration process will take no more than 5 minutes and you can start selling your photos right away.

Question 8

How do I sell my photos on Lumepic?

Accepted Answer

Once you register as a photographer and complete the setup to receive payments through Stripe, you can start selling your photos.

From "My Albums" you can upload your first album and publish it. To increase visibility and sales opportunities, it's important to share the album link on social media and with people connected to the photographed event or activity.

Sales are processed automatically and your earnings are credited to the bank account linked to Stripe.

When can I access the money from my sales?

We use Stripe as the payment processor for photographers. Stripe will make weekly transfers to your linked bank account. The average time to receive the money is 2 to 5 business days.

From 'My Account' you can access the information and status of your transfers.

How will my photos be organized?

Accepted Answer

Photos are organized by date and time. It is recommended to correctly adjust the camera time to facilitate searching. The easier it is for photographed people to find themselves, the greater the chances of purchase.

How will photographed people search for their photos?

People can find their photos in these ways:

• Facial recognition: Our technology detects the face and searches for matches across all albums.

• Manual search: You can search by album name, event, or activity.

Within an album, it is possible to filter photos by face or participant number for a faster search.

Does uploading my photos mean anyone can see them without paying?

No! Well, yes and no! Photos can only be viewed in low quality and with a watermark. This allows photographed people to find themselves in the images, and if they want to download them in high quality without a watermark, they must purchase them.

Do my photos need to meet quality standards? What quality should I upload them in?

The currently accepted formats are JPG, JPEG, and PNG. There is no mandatory minimum file size, but it is recommended to upload images of at least 1 MB and no larger than 15 MB (although we recommend not uploading photos larger than 3 MB).

Lumepic encourages proper use of the platform and reserves the right to remove content that does not meet these criteria, inappropriate content, or low-quality content.

What does it cost to use Lumepic?

Lumepic has a dedicated team to maintain and improve the service. Therefore, it charges photographers a 20% commission on photo sales revenue, ensuring the operation and growth of the platform.

For certain events or activities, the commission percentage may be modified. Check the specific conditions for each event.

How are photo sale prices defined?

Prices are generally (except for some specific events) set by photographers. Photographers can select the price at which they want to sell their photos and also define special prices for:

• Quantity

• Burst

• Package

• Full album

How do quantity discounts work?

Accepted Answer

Quantity discounts allow the unit price per photo to decrease as the customer adds more photos from the same album or event to the cart.

As a photographer, you can configure this when uploading a new album. We recommend setting attractive discounts to encourage customers to buy more photos.

How does burst pricing work?

Lumepic's system automatically recognizes bursts through photo metadata (it's important not to delete metadata when editing and exporting your photos!), and then groups them by burst to facilitate the customer purchase experience.

When uploading your album, you can define a single price for all photos in the same burst. This system is especially useful for action sports.

How does package pricing work?

When people search for photos using facial or numeric recognition, the system will offer all matching photos at a single price. You can define this price when uploading your album (or you can choose not to set a price).

You can also define a single price for all photos in the album. This price can also be set when uploading your album.

What are private albums and how do they work?

Private albums allow photographers to upload albums for private occasions so that only those who have the link and know the password can find them.

How does the accreditation system work?

Accepted Answer

Accreditations were created by Lumepic to optimize photographers' time and camera wear. They only apply to a few events. In those events, only photographers with accreditation can attend.

To obtain accreditations, the photographer must have a good ratio between sales and uploaded photos (sales ratio).

To improve the ratio and access events requiring accreditation, photographers should upload quality photos that get sold and participate in smaller events or those that don't require accreditation. As they upload photos with good sales results, their ratio will improve, and they will be able to access larger events.

Accreditations can be requested from the Events section in Lumepic by selecting the Future Events tab. There you can see all events and request accreditation for those that require it. Results will be visible in the same section between 24 and 48 hours before the event.

How does the referral system work?

The referral system seeks to reward photographers who invite other photographers to Lumepic. It allows them to share a personal invitation link with other photographers to start generating extra income. For each photographer who registers through the link, the referring photographer will receive a 5% commission on the referred photographer's sales for a full year (without affecting the referred photographer's earnings). You can view all this information in the 'My Rewards' section.

How does the Loyalty Program work?

What is it?

It is a promotion designed to incentivize photographers to promote the use of Lumepic for selling their photos while paying a lower commission to the platform.

What is its purpose?

For photographers to share their code with their clients, who can then use it when making a purchase in their albums.

What is the outcome of using it?

When a photographed person makes a purchase in an album using the photographer's promotional code, two things happen:

• Lumepic does not charge a commission on all purchases that person makes in the photographer's albums for one year (the payment processor's fee still applies).

• The photographed person receives a discount on the total purchase value, valid only if it is their first purchase.

How to get started?

Each photographer must generate their loyalty code from "My Account", by clicking "Create Personal Discount Code", where they can define:

• Code name: The text that photographed people will need to enter when making a purchase.

• Discount percentage: This will be applied to the total purchase value, even if other discounts have already been applied to that purchase.

You can search for photos using facial recognition or manually search for the album you participated in. Once inside the album, you can use facial recognition or search by participant number. Then, you can add photos to the cart and pay with various payment methods.

Photographers set the prices for each album and can offer different types of discounts and promotions. Each album will offer tailored prices and discounts. You can add photos one by one to the cart and enjoy quantity discounts, or you can add your photos taking advantage of Burst, Package, or Full Album discounts.

Photographers can offer quantity discounts. These discounts are automatically applied per album. The more photos you buy, the lower the price per photo.

I've already bought my photos, how do I download them?

Log in to Lumepic with your username and password and go to the "My Purchases" section from the menu. There you can see the list of your purchases and the photos you bought. Pressing the "Download" button will start the download. The process may take from seconds to minutes, depending on the size and number of images. If you are not registered, you can search your email for the purchase confirmation message.

My card payments are being declined, what could be happening?

You may not have sufficient funds or your bank may be declining the payment. We recommend checking with your bank or trying another card.

If you have made the payment and still cannot see your photos when accessing 'My Purchases' or have not received the confirmation email, please send the payment receipt to help@lumepic.com and our team will help you access your photos.
